Coast Guard rescues man aboard cruise ship

HONOLULU - A Coast Guard helicopter crew medevaced a 59-year-old man suffering from a heart attack aboard a cruise ship at 6 a.m. today 60 miles east of Oahu.
Crewmembers from Air Station Barbers Point rescued the man and transported him to The Queens Medical Center for further treatment.
A crewmember aboard the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Serenade of the Seas contacted the Coast Guard Monday evening for assistance.
