Coast Guard rescues 42-year old man

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Coast Guard rescued a fisherman Saturday suffering from heart attack symptoms aboard a 62-foot fishing boat 50 miles off the shore of Atlantic City.

Rescued was Ross Yeager, 42.

The Coast Guard received a call at 9:20 p.m. from a crewman aboard the F. Nelson Blount requesting Yeager be medevaced.

A helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City arrived on scene and hoisted the 42-year old into the helicopter.

Yeager was flown to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center and was transferred to awaiting emergency medical personnel for further treatment.
