Coast Guard rescues 4 near Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - The Coast Guard rescued four people Sunday who were aboard a disabled 21-foot boat under the Betsy Ross Bridge in Philadelphia.

The Coast Guard received a call at 9:35 p.m. from a crew member aboard the boat reporting they were anchored, disabled and needed assistance.

A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Philadelphia arrived on scene and towed the boat and its crew to Frankfort Arsenal in Philadelphia where they moored safely.
