Coast Guard rescues 3 fishermen near Cape May, N.J.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The Coast Guard rescued three people Thursday who were aboard a disabled 72-foot scalloper boat 32 miles southeast of Cape May, N.J.
The Coast Guard received a call at 12:50 p.m. from a crew member aboard the Icy Bay requesting assistance because they were disabled and adrift.
The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Mako, home-ported in Cape May, arrived on scene and towed the boat and its crew part of the way, then transferred the tow to a rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Cape May.
The rescue boat crew towed the Icy Bay and its crew to Cold Springs Marina in Cape May.
