Coast Guard postpones maritime emergency response exercise near Annapolis, Md.

BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard along with state and local responders are postponing a maritime emergency response exercise scheduled for Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to noon, on the Severn River near Annapolis due to a small craft advisory in effect in the area.

The exercise has been postponed and is scheduled to occur in the fall of 2013.

The exercise was scheduled to conduct inter-agency training during the emergency response of a simulated 64-foot cruise boat in distress.
