Coast Guard participates in Wreaths Across America event

SEATTLE — Lt. Jarrett Owens, Coast Guard 13th District Aids to Navigation division, participated in the 3rd annual Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Evergreen Washelli Cemetery in Seattle, Dec. 15, 2012, to honor those who have served in our nation’s military.

The annual ceremony is a Wreaths Across America event, which is one of many that are conducted in all 50 states during the holiday season to remember our veterans and fallen heroes.

Members of the military, Veterans of Foreign Wars and volunteers were present for the ceremony and subsequent wreath laying.
