ALAMEDA, Calif. — Commander of Coast Guard Pacific Area, Vice Adm. David Pekoske, speaks about his duties, mission priorities and the Coast Guard’s modernization effort in an “all hands” address videotaped on Coast Guard Island here June 3, 2008. Pekoske assumed the role of area commander during a change of command ceremony here May 29, 2008.
