Coast Guard medevacs man from University of South Carolina

Coast Guard Sector Charleston received a report from local emergency medical services at 12:12 p.m. a man was suffering from chest pains.

EMS was on scene but unable to transport the man to the hospital due to poor road conditions.

A MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Savannah conducted the medevac and took the man to Savannah Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
