Coast Guard medevacs fisherman off Santa Cruz Island

LOS ANGELES – The Coast Guard medevaced a crewmember experiencing chest pains and dizziness, from a fishing boat off Santa Cruz Island, Calif., March 18, 2013.

A Coast Guard Air Station Los Angeles MH-65 Dolphin helicopter was launched to rescue the 34-year old male at around 10:30, a.m.

The man was taken to Santa Barbara airport, where he was transferred to emergency medical services.
