Coast Guard Medevacs Eight Year Old Boy

JUNEAU, Alaska - The Coast Guard received a request for a medical evacuation this morning for an eight- year-old boy who was injured during a playground accident in Port Alexander.

Coast Guard Air Station Sitka safely recovered the injured boy and delivered him to awaiting medical personnel in Sitka.
