Coast Guard lifts safety zone in Port of Duluth-Superior

CLEVELAND — The Coast Guard Captain of the Port has lifted the previously established a safety zone in the Port of Duluth-Superior, Friday morning.

The safety zone from buoy gated pair “3” and “4” in the vicinity of Barker’s Island southeast through the harbor, including the Superior entry and Allouez Bay has been cancelled.

All vessels are now free to enter and transit the area.
