AGNESS, Ore. – A Coast Guard aircrew hoisted a hiker near Agness, Oregon, Thursday afternoon.

The aircrew aboard an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter from Coast Guard Sector North Bend hoisted the hiker at approximately 12:30 p.m. and transferred her to the Curry County Sheriff Department who were waiting in Agness.

Around 10 a.m., Curry County requested assistance after locating the 40-year-old who was reported missing Wednesday night when she didn’t return from her hike on Game Lake Trail.
