Coast Guard District 13 Launches Podcast/Blog

Editors Note: Last week we brought you the first Thirteenth District Public Affairs Podcast. Today, the following story crossed the feeder letting the world know about it.

SEATTLE - The Thirteenth Coast Guard District launched its first podcast today to help provide the public with an up-to-date view on community events and missions conducted by the Coast Guard in the Pacific Northwest.This outreach tool will allow the public and the extended Coast Guard family an extended, more intimate view of the events and happenings around the Thirteenth District.

The first podcast showcases the top five 2007 recorded rescues, the Coast Guard Cutter Steadfast drug interdiction, Coast Guard Auxiliary, Citizen’s Action Network and remembering the tragic sinking of the Triumph I.

    We hope you like the new features. We put the podcast out as a test last week with the official launch today.
