Coast Guard crew medevacs 1 near Manasquan, N.J.

MANASQUAN, N.J. – The Coast Guard medevaced a 35-year-old man Sunday from a 110-foot boat 10 miles off the coast of Manasquan, N.J.

Medevaced was Robert Hudson.

The Coast Guard received a call at 8:17 p.m. from a crew member aboard the Relentless, homeported in Boston, reporting Hudson had a broken foot.

A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Manasquan Inlet, N.J., arrived on scene and transported Hudson to the station where he was transferred to awaiting emergency medical personnel.

Hudson was taken to Brick Memorial Hospital in Brick, N.J., for treatment.
