Coast Guard Airlifts Fisherman to Alaska Clinic
JUNEAU, Alaska - The Coast Guard medevaced a mariner from a fishing vessel at approximately 8 a.m. today.
A rescue helicopter deployed with the Coast Guard Cutter Rush picked up a 21-year-old male from the fishing vessel Beauty Bay and transported him to Cold Bay Medical Clinic.
The Coast Guard Cutter Rush home ported in Hawaii is on a routine patrol here in Alaska.
The condition of the mariner is unknown at this time.
