Coast Guard airlifts Costa Rica Urban Search and Rescue crew to Haiti
SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic – A U.S. Coast Guard HC-130 Hercules aircraft crew from Air Station Clearwater, Fla., airlifted a 54-person Costa Rican Urban Search and Rescue crew and 8,000 pounds of rescue equipment from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to Haiti on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2010.
