Coast Guard Air Station Traverse City to hold 2014 Open Ramp

Traverse City – Coast Guard Air Station Traverse City will host an Open Ramp, Saturday, from 8:30 am to 10:30 am., rain or shine.

The Open Ramp will highlight the National Cherry Festival Air Show aircraft and the real-life heroes of the United States Coast Guard, the Blue Angels, the Air Force’s F-22 Raptor demonstration team, the P-51 demonstration team, and more.

Aircraft on display will include:

  • MH-65D Dolphin Rescue Helicopter
  • F-18 Blue Angels
  • C-130 “Fat Albert”
  • F-22 Raptor
  • P-51 Mustang

and more.

Refreshments will be available for purchase with all proceeds benefiting the Coast Guard Spouses’ Club. This event is open to general public and handicapped accessible.

    So excited for this Mr. Michael Throne, my Grandson Keygan Throne’s Grandpa invited the Blue Angels to come up here to the Cherry Festival back in the the late 1980s /1990s!
