CLEVELAND — Coast Guard boarding teams throughout the Great Lakes region terminated the voyages of 27 vessels this weekend, of which 12 were because the operator was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Coast Guard seeks assistance in identifying Middle River hoax caller
BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard is asking for assistance with locating a hoax caller after they received six false distress calls between May 1 and June 1 and conducted four searches involving multiple air and boat crews from the Coast Guard and local authorities. Coast Guard repatriates 23 Cuban migrants
MIAMI — The crews of the Coast Guard Cutters Pea Island and Knight Island repatriated 23 Cuban migrants this week to Bahia de Cabañas, Cuba. On Friday, Coast Guard Sector Key West, Fla., watchstanders received notification of a rustic vessel with 12 people aboard 44 miles southwest of Key West.
