MIAMI – A Coast Guard HU-25 Falcon jet aircrew from Air Station Miami is searching for four missing boaters aboard the 30-foot sailing vessel Pisces, Friday after failing to arrive in Key Largo, Fla., as expected.
Former Mayport Coast Guard cutter used for artificial reef off Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A former Coast Guard cutter was scuttled approximately 28 miles off the coast of Jacksonville Friday morning to create an artificial reef.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-The decommissioned Coast Guard Cutter Spike, a former construction tender, is shown sinking approximately 30 miles east of Jacksonville Friday, July 17, 2009, to become part of an artificial reef called Harms Ledge.
Several agencies participated in the sinking. Many boaters in the area are gathered to watch the Spike sink.
