Coast Guard rescues boaters stranded on an ice flow
JUNEAU, Alaska — The Coast Guard safely hoisted five people from a 22-foot recreational boat 15 miles northwest of Dillingham at 8:45 a.m. after they became stranded in an ice flow on the Nushugak River.

Coast Guard reopens waterway after Jordan Bridge span removal
PORTSMOUTH, Va. – The Coast Guard Captain of the Port of Hampton Roads reopened the Elizabeth River from the Belt Line Bridge to the Norfolk and Western Portsmouth Chesapeake Railroad Bridge at 10:30 p.m. Monday following the removal of a span of the Jordan Bridge.
