Update to Oil spill regulators respond to platform spill off the coast

Carpinteria, Calif. – The California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) Office of Spill Prevention and Response (OSPR), the United States Coast Guard, Minerals Management Service, and DCOR, LLC are continuing their coordinated response to an oil spill from a platform six miles off the coast of Santa Barbara County.

Marine Board of Investigation into Katmai sinking to reconvene Wednesday

SEATTLE — The Coast Guard Marine Board of Investigation will reconvene the Seattle portion of the investigation into the sinking of the fishing vessel Katmai Wednesday at 9 a.m. in room 3090 of the Jackson Federal Building. This hearing is open to the public.
