Oil spill regulators respond to platform spill off the coast

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — Clean up operations from the oil spill that occurred 6 miles offshore Santa Barbara County early Sunday morning, have concluded for the evening. Assessments as of Monday evening showed nearly all recoverable product as being removed with only a large area of light sheen remaining and dissipating slowly.
