FAA Releases Air Traffic Control Recordings of Coast Guard Helicopter Crash

The Pentagon Channel reports that the Federal Aviation Administration has released air traffic control recordings from a fatal Coast Guard helicopter crash in Hawaii.

HONOLULU — Crewmembers aboard the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Kukui last week removed four tons of nets and debris from Kure Atoll in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands.

Coast Guard searching for missing boater in Gulf of Mexico

NEW ORLEANS – Coast Guard units continue searching today for a man, who went missing after a smallboat he was aboard reportedly capsized near Cat Island in the Gulf of Mexico near Gulfport, Miss., Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008.

Grounded Tugboat Video

BOSTON- Coast Guard crews helped a Boston-based tug crew after they grounded their vessel near Buzzard’s Bay, Mass., Sunday, November 9, 2008. The engine room of the Southern Cross was flooding and could not be controlled so the crew beached the vessel to keep it from sinking.
