Coast Guard Rescues Three Men After Boat Overturns
TIERRA VERDE, Fla., – Rescue crews from Coast Guard Station St. Petersburg, Fla., and Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater, Fla., rescued three men at about 10:45 a.m., Wednesday, after their 17-foot boat overturned near Egmont Key, in Tierra Verde.

JUNEAU, Alaska – A 25-foot rescue boat crew from Station Ketchikan responded to a ‘Mayday’ call from a sailing vessel in Behm Canal in the vicinity of Back Island, 16 miles northwest of Ketchikan, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

CGC Halibut crew rescues stranded sailor
SAN PEDRO, Calif. — The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Halibut, homeported in Marina Del Ray, Calif., assisted a stranded sailor Tuesday, October 14, 2008, 100 miles off the coast of southern California. The boater was sailing his 44-foot sailboat to California from Hawaii when he ran out of fuel.
