Coast Guard crew and Good Samaritian rescue 5, searching for 1

INDIAN RIVER, Del. – The Coast Guard is searching for a missing person Thursday after a Good Samaritian rescued five people when their 18-foot boat capsized five miles east of Indian River Inlet here.

Crowley tug Twi-lite remains grounded as response efforts continue

Coast Guard attends Golden Fleece to assess damage, monitoring transit to Kodiak

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The Coast Guard is monitoring the transit of the fishing vessel Golden Fleece today to ensure they reach Kodiak safely. The vessel suffered a propulsion casualty and is in need of permanent repairs. The 92-foot Kodiak-based Mar del Norte is escorting them.
