Coast Guard crew recovers body of missing boater near Barnegat NJ

BARNEGAT, N.J. – The Coast Guard recovered the body of a 64-year-old man Tuesday who disappeared from a 40-foot sailboat in Barnegat Inlet here.
Deceased is Clint Vanorsdell of Massachusetts.

Coast Guard Cutter Tampa returns home following 25-day Caribbean patrol

PORTSMOUTH, Va. – The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Tampa returned home Tuesday following an eventful 25-day Caribbean Sea Patrol.
The Tampa crew began their patrol by interdicting a “go-fast” vessel headed toward the U.S. Tampa boarding team members intercepted and boarded the vessel, and detained the two crewmembers aboard suspected of migrant smuggling.
