SEATTLE – The Coast Guard medically evacuated a 68-year-old woman from Ecola State Park approximately 30 miles from Astoria, Ore., Thursday afternoon.
After being notified by Cannon Beach Fire/Rescue, an HH-60 Helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Astoria rescued the woman who had collapsed one-and-a-half miles from a trail in the park.
