New commanding officer to take charge of response boat project office
SEATTLE – Commander Jerry Doherty will relinquish command of the Response Boat – Medium Project Resident Office (RB-M PRO) to Commander Scott Washburn on August 8, 2008 in Kent, Wash.
The RB-M PRO represents the Coast Guard during the building of approximately 180 new response boats by the Marinette Marine Corporation, the project’s prime contractor.
