National Security Cutter Bertholf Commissioned on Coast Guards Birthday

Coast Guard reopens the Ohio River

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Coast Guard has reopened the Ohio River tonight from mile marker 720 to 722 near Louisville, that had previously been closed.

Rescue crews recover body of 17-year-old swimmer at Fort Macon State Park

PORTSMOUTH, Va. – The Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and local agencies ended the search for a missing 17-year-old swimmer after the body was recovered at Fort Macon State Park today.
