Coast Guard Suspends Search Efforts Off Bahamas

MIAMI – The Coast Guard suspended its search at 7:38 p.m. Tuesday for approximately 10 more people in the water about 15 miles northwest of Nassau, Bahamas.
Fourteen deceased Haitian migrants had been recovered, along with one Honduran and two Haitian survivors. The survivors were transferred to Bahamian custody.

Coast Guard Continues Search Near Bahamas

MIAMI — The Coast Guard is continuing its search Tuesday for possibly 10 more missing Haitian migrants from a capsized vessel about 15 miles northwest of Nassau, Bahamas.
According to a Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) interview with one of the survivors, 27 people were reported to have been onboard the vessel when it capsized.
