SEATTLE – The Coast Guard and the Washington Department of Ecology responded to a reported 85 gallon spill of mineral oil from a transformer at Willow Creek near Tukwila, Wash., today.
The oil leaked from a transformer on a downed power pole and ran into a storm drain overnight, some of it reaching Willow Creek.
