Coast Guard airlifts boat passenger

BOSTON – The Coast Guard airlifted a 16-year-old charter boat passenger today after he suffered from a reported seizure about 15 miles offshore from Gloucester, Mass.
Coast Guard Station Gloucester received the report from a crewman aboard the 75-foot Yankee Clipper that the teenager had fallen and needed medical assistance.

Coast Guardsman Drowns In Traverse City, Michigan

An Airman stationed at the Coast Guard Air Station in Traverse City drowned Thursday evening after efforts to save him failed.
