Coast Guard Airlfts Injured Girl

 BOSTON — An Air Station Cape Cod HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter transfered an injured ten-year-old girl from Bourne, Mass., to Boston for advanced medical treatment today, about 5:30 p.m.

 BOSTON – An Air Station Cape Cod HH-60 helicopter rescued a man from his sailboat 40 miles south of Rockland, Maine, 12:47 a.m.
Mike Hanagen, 53, called Sector Northern New England reporting that he was ill and disoriented aboard Hattie Kay, a 29-foot sailing vessel he had been operating alone for two days.

Coast Guard Investigates Cause of Tugboat Grounding

 NORFOLK, VA – The U.S. Coast Guard has completed its response to the grounding of the tug RUSSEL B. MURRAY, which ran aground near the north island of the Monitor-Merrimac Bridge Tunnel at about 8:00 a.m. Friday.
