Coast Guard monitors pipeline rupture in Trinity Bay

HOUSTON – A 4-inch transportation pipeline ruptured in Galveston, Texas, and leaked approximately 210 gallons of crude oil into Trinity Bay on Sunday, May 13.
Masters Resources notified watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Houston/Galveston about 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The rupture was due to corrosion.
