Large Illegal Catch Seized
BOSTON – The Coast Guard, in coordination with NOAA Fisheries Enforcement agents, seized 20,000 pounds of scallops from the fishing vessel Villa Do Corva II for illegal gear congifuration Wednesday evening.
The seizure, valued at more than $150,000, is the largest New England catch seizure in recent years.
