Air Station New Orleans Received Unit Citation Award

CAMERON, La. — Former President George H. W. Bush and actor George Clooney presented a Presidential Unit Citation Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, to an aircrew from Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans. The crew assisted in rescue efforts after Hurricane Katrina made landfall, and saved more people that first week than they do in an average year.
